Tindol Subaru Loves Pets
Tindol Subaru hosted our Annual Pet Adoption Event on Saturday, Oct 8th, 2022, at our 30th Annual Cruise In. We are partnered with Gaston County Animal Care & Enforcement and Cat Smart Coalition to help 28 pets find their forever homes!

Tindol Subaru partnered with a local Boy Scout doing his Eagle Scout Project. Together, they have built 31 dog houses to shelter pets left out in the elements in participation with No Cold Pets Gaston.

The Tindol Subaru Team donated blankets to Catherine's House, a transitional housing center in Belmont, NC which serves women and children facing homelessness in our local community.

Tindol Subaru Loves Pets and we love partnering with the Animal League of Gaston County, Gaston County Animal Care & Enforcement, Cat Smart Coalition, and ASPCA to help find pets a loving home. Each year in October we celebrate Subaru Loves Pets Month by hosting a pet adoption. In 2021 we helped more than 20 fur babies find a forever home!

Tindol Subaru supports local law enforcement and their community outreach efforts by hosting an annual GPF Golf Classic fundraiser for the Gastonia Police Foundation.

Tindol Subaru Loves Learning, and through our annual Subaru Share The Love initiative, we were honored to present over $14,000 to the Gaston County Education Foundation as well as partner with Gardner Park Elementary in the annual Are You Smarter Than a Gaston County 5th Grader competition!

Our Tindol "Suba Heroes" took the plunge into Robinwood lake to support the YMCA during the 2021 Pledge 2 Plunge fundraiser, helping to raise over $2500 to support community programs at the Warlick Family YMCA in Gaston Co.

Through our Love Promise, a commitment to support our local communities, Tindol Subaru supported Catherine's House by donating blankets to help people in need during the winter season. Catherine's House, a Ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, Provides Transitional Housing for Women & Children Who are Homeless.

The Tindol Subaru Team helped prepare lunches for the West Gastonia Boys & Girls Club. We are so thankful for this community partner that provides a SAFE and FUN place for kids to go after school and during the summer months.

The Tindol Subaru Team partnered with The Animal League of Gaston County and Tri-County Animal Rescue to help 37 pets find a forever home during our Annual Pet Adoption Event on Oct 3rd, 2020!
Tindol Subaru Loves Education
The Tindol Subaru Team was happy to help make the Woodhill Elementary playground a bit more playful during the challenges of the pandemic by creating safer play options for students. They jumped in to help the Art and PE Teachers paint obstacle courses, hop scotch, mirror me and other activities on the ground.
Tindol Subaru Loves Our First Responders
On May 7th, 2020, Tindol Subaru took on the look of a drive thru restaurant, feeding Chick-fil-A lunch to 400 first responders in Gaston County. Fire trucks, police cruisers and EMS lined up outside the dealership for the free chicken sandwich, chips and dessert provided by the restaurant, Tindol and Harris Teeter and Food Lion. Natalie Tindol and others kept a quick pace in getting the emergency vehicles in and out of the parking lot. The event was held to thank those essential workers on the front lines in the battle against COVID-19.

Team Tindol was honored to once again compete in the "Are You Smarter Than a Gaston County Fifth Grader?" competition on Feb 13th, 2020. Sponsored by the Gaston County Education Foundation, this popular annual event pairs businesses and organizations with elementary schools in a fun game show format. Proceeds go toward the Ron L. Ensley grants for teachers to fund innovative classroom lessons and projects. This year, Tindol Subaru teamed up with fifth grade students from Gardner Park Elementary School to answer a series of questions related to science, math, history, and other subjects. Tindol Subaru also donated $15,000 to the Gaston County Education Foundation in support of local educators and students.

Through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, Tindol Subaru collected new pet supplies to donate to our local animal organizations and provided shelter supply kits for our furry friends awaiting adoption. We also held a pet adoption at Tindol's 27th Annual Custom Car Cruise In to help our furry friends find their forever homes.

The Tindol Subaru team participated in the Subaru Loves Learning Campaign again in 2019 and we visited Gardner Park Elementary to deliver 150 brand new books to the library. Inside some of the books were tags which included our Tindol Subaru customers' names along with handwritten messages on bookmarks for the children to use. We loved seeing the enthusiasm on all the kid's faces as they were opening up the new books and reading through the pages. Thank you to the Gardner Park Elementary staff for hosting us and giving us this opportunity. We appreciate our local educators and all their efforts to teach and inspire students throughout Gaston County.

Since 2015, Tindol Subaru has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate blankets and arts & crafts kits to those fighting cancer at the CaroMont Cancer Center. We are thankful for the wonderful doctors and nurses who provide such compassionate care at the medical center with region's most advanced cancer-fighting technology.

The Tindol Subaru Team would like to thank Subaru and our amazing customers for helping us raise $14,250 for the Gaston County Education Foundation! We are so thankful for our local teachers and the impact they have on children in Gaston County!

As part of the 2018 Subaru Loves Learning initiative, Tindol Subaru delivered books to the awesome students at Gardner Park Elementary School! Students learn best when they have tools that inspire new ways of thinking and seeing the world. In August 2018, through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, Subaru partnered with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) to donate award-winning science books to students in our community.

During the Subaru Loves to Care Initiative, we were proud to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to spread hope, love, and warmth to those fighting cancer through small gestures of caring. We delivered blankets and messages of hope to patients at the CaroMont Cancer Center. Thank you to everyone who helped Tindol Subaru with this amazing event.
